Parasailing FAQs

How high up do parasailers usually go?

The average height a parasail usually goes us is around 800 feet. However some places will let you go up to 1200 feet, but that usually will cost a little extra.

How old you have have to be to go parasailing?

Kids as young as 3 are usually the youngest to go and are typically accompanied by an adult, but at some locations they don’t have to be.

How long are you in the air while parasailing?

You will be in the air for usually about 10 minutes and most places will let you stay up in the air a little longer for an upcharge.

Will you get wet and what should you wear?

It is recommended that you wear a swimsuit or shorts that are comfortable. Most places will dip you in the water in which usually your feet will be dipped in the water to about knee level.

Can you ride up with someone else and what are the weight restrictions?

The majority of places encourage you to ride as a double or even triple, however the average weight limit per ride is ~400 pounds.
